Our Facilities

OUTSIDE

The Waterfront has seating for over 200 on a first come, first served basis with areas dedicated to drinkers.

The Marina Terrace. Dine alfresco on this timber-decked terrace with its mixture of glass-topped rattan tables and teak poseur tables and stools. Or sip a Kir Royale in the sun and watch the bustling marina – who needs Spain?!

The Garden Terrace. A partly glass-covered dining area with spectacular views of the Barton Marina lakes and woodland.

In the garden the focus of attention is our Jewel in the Crown! Five fabulous thatched Breeze Huts for dining with seating for four to eight persons. Pre-booking only.

INSIDE

The Waterfront is air-conditioned and has free WIFI. There are lots of nooks and crannies where sandwiches, snacks and dishes from our Main Menu are served all day. Apart from the restaurant seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The Main Lounge is full of comfy armchairs to sink into with seats in front of the log-burning stove highly prized on a winter’s night.

At The Bar the poseur tables are great places for watching the colourful cocktails being shaken and stirred. Our drinks list (q.v.) offers one of the area’s most interesting selections of cask ales, lager and cider, wines by the glass and spirits.

The Pizza Lounge is a cosy corner of posh poseur tables for drinkers only.

Booking is strongly advised in the Restaurant and Quarterdeck, opening out onto the terrace and the marina. Here you can pick from our chefs Daily Specials as well as our comprehensive Menu.

The Crow’s Nest. With its fully-stocked bar, dance floor and balcony overlooking the marina, this well-appointed suite is a popular venue for weddings and large gatherings. But if you’re not looking to seat 120 guests or a maximum of 200 for a buffet, then the room can be subdivided to cater for smaller, more intimate parties.

OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

For The Waterfront, reducing our carbon footprint matters.

We switched our waste collections last year to FORTRESS RECYCLING.

A Carbon Neutral Company!

Food Waste – Recycled into Fertiliser

Paper & Carboard – Recycled into new Paper

Plastics – Recycled into pellet which can create new plastic

Glass – Recycled into new materials

Residual Waste – sent to an Energy Recovery Facility – turned into Energy to power Homes!

HEART WARMING NEWS!

The Waterfront no longer has the only defibrillator at Barton Marina

Extra machines have been installed at the main entrance, the security office and the shopping mall

Your safety is our concern!

CURRENT NEWS TO LIGHT UP
YOUR DAY!

For The Waterfront, the threat of power cuts is over.

When some bright spark suggested purchasing a stand-by generator, the powers-that-be were energised. So, when you next dine or socialise, there will be no shortage of juice. Your mains won’t be interrupted by a failure in supply! White weddings won’t end up as blackouts.

The Waterfront – ahead of the game, once again!
